The scope of work for this project consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to replace existing chain link fences and gates at various locations in Kahului Harbor on "as-needed" basis. To be eligible for award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering Contractor "A " or Specialty Contractors "C-32" license at the time when bids are due. See attached Plans and Specifications for more information. Contract Start and End Date shown in the HIePRO solicitation are estimates. The exact dates shall be provided by written notice from the Harbors Division Construction Engineer. All Request for Information (RFI) questions and substitution requests shall be submitted via HIePRO no later than January 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., HST. RFI questions received after the stated deadline will not be addressed. Verbal RFI questions will not receive a response. All responses to RFI questions shall be issued by formal addendum and posted in HIePRO. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects in said proposals in the best interest of the public.
