Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Taylorsville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of the construction of a new submersible sewer pump station on the east side of Bowman Court in the Bethlehem community of Alexander County. The submersible pump station will be equipped with a precast concrete wetwell, two pumps, diesel driven emergency generator, gravel access driveway, and necessary electrical equipment. The pump station will discharge through an 8-inch force main, extending approximately 6,500 linear feet along Bowman Court and Rink Dam Road to the existing gravity sewer at Chigger Ridge Road. A gravity sewer manhole will be constructed just outside the station to accept future flows from economic development projects.
