Walnut, Alice Ingersoll Gymnasium, 44 W. Walnut, Westview Elementary School, 700 West Old Vine St., Mccall School, 735 E. Locust St. And the Bus Building, 890 E. Oak St., All Located in Canton, Il 61520 Proposals Shall Be Accompanied by Bid Guarantee in Form of a Bid Bond for 5 Percent of the Gross Amount of the Bid, Made Payable as Described in the Contract Documents. Such Bid Bond Shall Be Forefeited as Liquidated Damages by the Bidder Should He Fail to Enter Into a Contract and Furnish a Satisfactory Performance Bond Within the Following Number of Days: 10 After Notification of Acceptance of His Proposal. The Bid Bonds of All Excepting the Three Lowest Formal Bidders Will Be Returned Within the Following Number of Days: 7 and the Remaining Bid Bonds Will Be Returned Within the Following Number of Days After Bid Opening: 30, With the Exception Mentioned Above. All Proposals Must Be Made on Forms Furnished by the Architect. No Bid May Be Withdrawn After Scheduled Closing Time for the Receipt of Bids for at Least This Number of Calendar Days: 30. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Any Informalities in Bidding. All Contractors and Subcontractors Shall Comply With Illinois Statutes Concerning Mandatory Drug Testing for All Workers on This Project. All Work Performed on This Project Shall Comply With Illinois Statutes Concerning Payment of Prevailing Wages.
