Purchase of Security Systems. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier s check, money order or bid bond made payable to Center Line Public Schools in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a bid guarantee. The Center Line Public School s Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to award the Contract to other than the Bidder(s) submitting the best financial Bid (low bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion. Each Bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the Bidder and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of Center Line Public Schools. The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Each Bid must also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement certifying that the Bidder is not an Iran Linked Business. The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized statement. Each Bid must also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Criminal Background - Sex Offender Affidavit. The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized statement. Withdrawal of any Bid is prohibited for a period of ninety (90) days after the Due Date. Submitted Bids may be adjusted by unit prices included by the Bidder to ensure all Bids submitted are compared on the same basis with respect to required materials. The Owner reserves the right to accept alternates in any order or combination and to determine the low Bidder on the basis of the sum of the base Bid and the alternates accepted.
