The transmission system project consists of approximately 1080 km of 350 kV HVdc overhead transmission line from Muskrat Falls in Labrador to Soldiers Pond in Newfoundland via sub-sea cables and associated converter stations. This Specification covers the design, detailing, material procurement and fabrication of the 350 kV HVdc galvanized steel transmission towers.
