The Sleepy Hollow Local Development Corporation ("LDC") seeks a qualified firm or team to complete design, engineering, and construction of a new recreational facility ("PARK") that will provide separate and distinct areas for a skate park, racquet sport courts, and community promenade (the "PROJECT") in the southwest quadrant of the east parcel. Site analysis and design will include a placeholder for a new multipurpose field ("FIELD") along the western boundary of the PROJECT area. Budget: The estimated project budget is $2,500,000, broken down as follows: o Skate Park (+/- $600k) o Racquet Sport Courts (+/- $300k) o Community Promenade (+/- $1.25m) o Park Amenities (+/- $350k) The estimated project budget is inclusive of all costs related to design, engineering, permitting, and construction, including firm reimbursable expenses. If respondents cannot meet budget constraints within the anticipated scope of work and schedule, the response should state why and provide specific cost justification. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The LDC shall have the right to review, amend, comment, and require modifications throughout the development of design documents to achieve desired project goals. Upon selection of a firm/team, the LDC and firm/team will negotiate a design/build contract based upon budget and priorities. Provisions of this agreement will include the design of the project, preparation of construction documents, projected operation and maintenance costs, and construction of the project with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) approved by the LDC. The LDC reserves the right to reject proposals that impose conditions that would modify the terms conditions, or requirements of this solicitation or limit the proposer's liability to the LDC on the contract awarded on the basis of such proposal
