The Town of Hempstead seeks a qualified elevator contractor with at least 5 years' experience in installing and maintaining elevators. This is an on-call contractor to be utilized on an as needed basis, beginning January 2024 The contract is for a one-year term. The Town has the right to extend the contract for two additional one-year periods for a total of three years. Pricing shall remain in effect without changes for the entire contract time. The locations of the elevators are: 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, NY 11550 350 Front Street, Hempstead, NY 11550 200 North Franklin Street, Hempstead NY 11550 There are 5 (five) passenger elevators and 1 (one) freight elevator and 1 (one) chair lift.
