Rounds Hill Stream Crossing Replacement A Certified Check or Bank Draft, Payable to the Order of the Sugar Grove Township or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and an Acceptable Surety, in an Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Total of the Bid Shall Be Submitted With the Bid. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Contract as Awarded Will Be Required as Security for Faithful Performance of the Contract. Proposals Must Be Submitted on the Forms Prescribed. The Supervisors Reserve the Right to Reject Any or All Bids. This is a stream crossing culvert replacement funded by the Dirt, Gravel and Low Volume Roads Program. Project includes the replacement of a 3' steel culvert pipe with a 19'1" span by 4'2" rise by 40.5' long structural plate box culvert (provided by the township) on cast in place concrete footers (provided by successful bidder). Crossing replacement also includes stream channel restoration including installation of (7) constructed riffles, establishment of a 16.6' bank to bank stream channel. Project also includes the installation of (6) new and replacement cross pipes and installation of 150' of 4" perforated drain tile as underdrain. Project includes the placement of 7007 tons of backfill and road fill over an approximate project length of 4313 feet.
