Renovation of a library in Narberth, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Council will accept bids for the structural reinforcement of the Library roof per plans prepared by GCI, LLC, Structural Engineers. This is a Single Prime (GC-type) Contract Project. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified check made payable to Narberth Borough in the amount of 10% of the total bid proposal. Anticipated contract award is February 1, 2024. Prevailing wage rates apply. PA. Act 127 (Public Works Employment Verification Act) requirements are applicable. The selected bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond, and Insurance Certs, including Workers Compensation Insurance. Construction start date is expected by March 4, 2024. Narberth Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids, parts thereof, and/or any or all bid alternates and, in general, to make awards in any manner deemed to be in the projects best interest.
