Questions will be taken until 4:00 PM Tuesday January 9, 2024 Drainage improvements on approximately 1900 feet of roadway. Installation of 700 feet of 15" HDPE pipe, 7400 tons of 2RC for ditch and road profile fill, and installation of (2) squash pipes - (1) 42" span x 29" rise x 45' long & (1) 86.5" span x 67.25" rise x 50' long. All cross pipes include head and end walls with energy dissipation aprons (R4/R5) at the outlets as needed. Seed and mulch for all disturbed areas. All pipe is provided by the municipality. Bid is for aggregate, rip rap, seed & mulch, labor (at prevailing rate as applicable) and equipment. Compaction equipment for pipe installation and fill placement required. Sealed bids for the Porter Hill Drainage Improvement project consisting of installation of ~700 feet 15" HDPE pipe, ~7400 ton of 2RC fill, and (2) squash pipes of ~ 42" and 72" A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Freehold Township or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with the bid. A performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract as awarded will be required as security for faithful performance of the contract. Proposals must be submitted on the forms prescribed. The Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
