The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Project involves installation of a new 2,500 KVA medium voltage transformer along with cable connection and main switch connected to an existing substation in the main electrical room of The Orville Freeman Building. Replace an existing (circa 2005) 15 KV G&W switch with a new switch in a new location. Work will require modification on the building curtainwall/exterior and interior gyp/stud walls to get new equipment into the building. Large items will be craned into a lower level exterior patio area and brought in through curtainwall opening. Majority of work to be performed on after hours/weekend. This solicitation includes qualification requirements. Attachment C of the Response Form contains the qualification requirements for the solicitation. Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to: Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor or as a Subcontractor, the work for at least two (2) contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since January 2019 for construction of Electrical Service Modification. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $400,000 or greater. OR In lieu of Responding company's projects, Responder may provide on the form below up to (enter number of projects required) qualifying projects completed by the Project Manager while employed by others which have achieved Substantial Completion January 2019 for Electrical Service Modification, and $400,000 or greater. Project Manager and Job Superintendent responsible for this project EACH has had at least five (5) years of experience with Electrical Service Modification similar in scope and value to this project. Each of these contracts must have had a construction value of $400,000 or greater. This Project has a 2% Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (TG/ED/VO) subcontracting goal.
