The City of Sedalia, Missouri is requesting qualifications for design-build services to address the following: 1) New Equalization Basin designed to handle the flow from both the North and Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. Basin shall be sized to meet minimum MoDNR standards and all Federal, State and local standards. In addition, basin shall be designed or ease of maintenance and sludge removal. Basin shall be located northwest of the existing Central WWTP on city ownedproperty. 2) New Pump Station and Force Main and or gravity line between the new equalization basin and the Central WWTP for processing. 3) Dredging and removal of material of existing equalization basin at Central WWTP and North WWTP. 4) New Pump Station, to be sited at the current North Wastewater Treatment Plant; sized to handle the design flow of the existing wastewater treatment plant and existing equalization basin. 5) Force Main and/or gravity main line from the new pump station, at the North Wastewater Treatment Plant, to the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, using existing right-of-way and/or easement. 6) New Headworks at Central WWTP for a Design flow between 5 - 6 MGD. 7) New Solids Handling at Central WWTP for a Design Flow between5 - 6 MGD. 8) New Process Trainat the Central WWTP (Primary Clarifiers, Secondary Clarifiers, Aeration Basin, Flows plitter, Misc.) 9) Evaluateand Review of existing UV System; size to accommodate Design Flowbetween5 - 6MGD. 10) Evaluate and Review of existing SCADA Systemto ensure allsystems are monitored. 11) RelocatedexistingTemporaryScreeningfrom Central WWTP to North WWTP. 12) Constructionof New Shop/Officefor vehiclesand staff. 13) Decommission NorthWWTP. 14) Decommission facilitiesat Central WWTP that are not required. 15) Prepare a cost estimate,to include design-build, andprioritylist of projectsfor theSoutheastWWTP, for constructionpurposes,depending on cost include for improvementsto the North and Central WWTP.
