Turf Replacements at Rocky River High School 10505 Clear Creek Dr, Mint Hill , NC 28227 and Hough High School 12420 Bailey Road, Corneilius NC 28031. Scope of work: Remove existing fill and turf surface and installation of a new turf surface per the attached specifications. Includes regarding, if needed, the base materials. The existing Surface is a Medallion Maxplay system. Construction / Installation Schedule to be one month (or less) starting June 2023 A 5% bid bond will be required for all bids 100% Payment and Procurement Bonds will be required for the successful bidder. Turf Field shall have markings / lines for both Football and Soccer, per North Carolina High School Athletic Association. http://www.nchsaa.org/. Except no yellow soccer dot at the 50-yard line (kick-off spot). Turf Field shall have the Rocky River High School logo at the 50-yard line, to be agreed upon with school (4 colors or less). Turf Field shall have yard markers G, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 in white outlined in Rocky River HS Orange. End Zones shall be WKH 6FKRRO &RORUV. Contractor shall clean track drain at the end of the project. The contractor is responsible for examining the existing nailer boards and replace any nailer boards that are rotted and need to be replaced, base contract should assume no more than 100 yards of nailer boards need replacement. GMAX testing shall be performed at completion of the project per Turf Industry Best Practices (copy Attached) any areas not meeting the 135G or less shall have more material installed and retested. Work hours can be 7 days and any hours; however, noise will need to be minimized during end of year testing. Contractor responsible for recycling all turf materials and responsible for their own trash removal (on site dumpsters are not for this project) A Wiedenmann Terra Clean 100 or better grooming machine shall be provided. Provide Alternate for 10-year warranty. Provide Alternate for the Words Rocky in one end Zone and River in the other end zone. Color to be as they are currently. The Contractor agrees to fully complete the Work by June 30, 2025 (the "Date of Completion").
