Renovation of a municipal facility in Flagstaff, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of March 1, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award was not yet been established. Mountain Line, Flagstaff's regional transit provider, is seeking bids for a comprehensive security system for our Downtown Connection Center (DCC) Project, located in Flagstaff, AZ. The new DCC will be a two story, 20,938 SF building. The first floor will provide public access to transit riders for customers service, restrooms, and community room. The second floor will support administrative services. The desired security system should encompass various components such as access control, cameras, and alarm systems. Additionally, Mountain Line is interested in incorporating features that allow for automation within the system, notifications through email, phone, and text messages, an activity log, user tracking, and event markers across all systems. For instance, in the event of an alarm activation, a timestamp should be synchronized with cameras and archived for reference. Ease of use is a key criterion, particularly in the context of adding or removing users from the system. Mountain Line is seeking a unified naming convention across all system components to facilitate seamless navigation and management. Furthermore, the security solution should include a local DVR, and the capability to continue functioning during power outages or internet disruptions. The goal is to have an all-encompassing security system that integrates seamlessly and provides a robust and user-friendly experience for our Downtown Connection Center Project. Reference the Downtown Connection Center construction plans Sheets E-401 and E-402 and the cover sheet included the solicitation. The selected partner will be responsible to design and provide a security system that fits in the existing project restraints, including the contractor's construction schedule and jobsite rules. Wiring is included per the design shown on E-401 and E-402. All camera cable will be white CAT6. Access control cabling will be labeled and coiled in server room for termination by others. Reference the door hardware specifications and approved submittals. Electric strikes are included in the door hardware package as noted. The scope of work includes the following two tasks: Please send all questions to purchasing@naipta.az.gov. All questions must be submitted via email only by 5:00 PM, January 15, 2024. Answers to questions and other clarifications will be in the final Addenda issued through Mountain Line Website.
