Saving Project...

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Benton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

This project includes the rehabilitation of 4 existing, aged lift stations (Riley, Jail, Cherry Circle, & Pizza Hut) which are deteriorated and in need of significant rehab efforts. The project will rehab the existing stations with epoxy lining of the wet wells, new valve vaults, and new slide rail and piping systems. A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Benton reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The contract award will be made in writing to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose qualifications indicate the award will be in the best interest of the Owner and whose bid/proposal complies with all the prescribed requirements. No Notice of Award will be given until the Owner has concluded such investigation as deemed necessary to establish the responsibility, qualifications, and financial ability of Bidders to do the work in accordance with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the Owner within the time prescribed.
