Bid Bond Each proposal shall be submitted and be accompanied by a Proposal Security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Total Proposal Price. Performance/Payment Bonds The Proposer to whom a contract is offered must furnish to the City if that contract has a total cost greater than $50,000.00, a 100 percent Performance Bond with a surety, and in a form acceptable to the City. In the City's sole discretion, it may also require a 100 percent Payment Bond and/or other additional security with a surety and in a form acceptable to the City. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects, irregularities and omissions if, in its judgment, the best interest of the City will be served.
