Bids must be prepared on the forms furnished with the specifications and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope that is plainly marked to indicate the name and address of the Bidder and bear the wording BID/24-22 Additions and Interior Renovations to Gantner, Gilbert, and 16th Ave. Elementary Schools on the outside of the envelope. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond from a surety company licensed to do business in New Jersey, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid submitted, but not in excess of $20,000.00, made payable to the Elmwood Park School District Board of Education. All Bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.
