Ector County ISD is seeking responses from qualified licensed surveying firms with demonstrated professional competence and experience to provide surveying services. Ector County ISD is seeking qualified firms or individuals interested in providing surveying services on an “as-needed” basis. Qualified individuals interested in providing such services are invited to submit responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). At a minimum, the Statement of Qualifications must contain the following. This Request for Qualifications may include General Concept, Instructions/General Conditions, Special Terms and Conditions, Insurance Requirements (if needed), Specifications and Proposal Form/Specifications. These provisions shall be considered as part of any resulting legal and binding contract/purchase order as if thereto attached or therein repeated. The District intends to use a non-AIA contract, but reserves the right to use an AIA contract, as modified and amended by the District. The firm selected shall maintain professional liability or errors and omissions insurance in the amount of at least $1 million for each occurrence, and the must provide workers’ compensation insurance, as set out in District Policy CV. The district reserves the right to require additional coverage, as needed, depending on the size and scope of a particular project. The selected firm, however, MAY NOT necessarily be utilized for projects funded with voter approved bonds or any other project that the District determines is in its best interest to use a different consultant, depending on the scope of the project and the needs of the District at that time. Further, the District, at its discretion, reserves the right to terminate its relationship completely with any firm selected through this RFQ. Question Deadline 02/08/2024 at 1:00 PM CT.
