Specify a minimum number of years or projects completed in environmental assessments. Request details on experience in the specific type of assessment needed (Phase I ESA, Phase II ESA, ecological assessments, etc.) Assess the firm's experience in the specific geographic area or ecosystem of the project site. Full Professional Environmental Consulting Services to provide Due Diligence for Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Service Assessments, Property Condition Assessments, soil and groundwater remediation, Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping and drafting services. Services would also include assistance with environmental regulatory issues such as Tier II Reports, Air Quality, Storm water Compliance, Waste Water, Environmental Remediation Services, Hazardous, Industrial Waste Permitting, H2S Compliance, Aerial Surveys, and OSHA and Health programs. It is the District’s intent that the firm selected through this RFQ will be used for projects that develop up to the next five (5) years. The selected firm, however, MAY NOT necessarily be utilized for projects funded with voter approved bonds or any other project that the District determines is in its best interest to use a different consultant, depending on the scope of the project and the needs of the District at that time. Further, the District, at its discretion, reserves the right to terminate its relationship completely with any firm selected, through this RFQ. While the District has every intention to award a contract as a result of this RFQ, issuance of the RFQ in no way constitutes a commitment by ECISD to award a contract. the Board or designee reserves the right to select and rank firms without conducting interviews. All responses shall be evaluated and ranked on the criteria identified above, and final selection will be based upon the firm’s demonstrated competence, in comparison to the needs of the District, the quality of the documents provided, and factors that any entity would consider in selecting a firm for Environmental Assessment Services.
