The Frederick County Department of Public Works is seeking to obtain the services of a qualified general contractor to perform sitework/excavation. The services shall include but not be limited to heavy equipment services, road work, site grading services, site development services, clearing and grading services, mulching and brush grinding services, snow removal and plowing, etc. The on-call services would be needed for projects within Frederick County, Virginia. Question Deadline 01/10/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All inquiries and technical questions or comments related to this solicitation shall be directed to Joe C. Wilder, Director of Public Works. All questions shall be submitted in writing (email is preferred). Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. The initial contract period will be for an on-call contract for a period of one (1) year with the option of four (4) one (1) year extensions not to exceed five (5) years.
