Renovation of a residential development in Gainesville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Questions regarding bid solicitation must be submitted in writing to Vince Marino at VinceM@gnvha.org The provisions of Section 3, Davis Bacon Act and other Acts will apply to the entire Scope of Work. It is incumbent upon the bidders to know and understand these provisions prior to bidding. Scope of Work It is the intent of GHA for Bathroom Refurbishment Services Contractor to furnish a “turnkey” project. Gainesville Housing Authority (GHA) is requesting proposals to provide Bathroom Refurbishment services for the above listed units per the following Scope of Work. The contractor is responsible for permits and inspections as required by the City of Gainesville’s building department. Contractor is to field verify all door dimensions, all door trim, and base boards are paint grade. Contractor is to provide material to protect tub surface/finish. Hours of work: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time excluding all the GHA recognized Holidays. Contractor is responsible for daily work area and jobsite cleanup and security. All proposers should include their scheduling availability with their estimates. All proposers should describe in detail their call back services and related costs if any. The proposer will be required to enter into an agreement with GHA. At all times during the term of the contract, the proposer shall act as an independent contractor. GHA reserves the right to negotiate any and all parts of the contract.
