This section includes the furnishing of all plant, labor, equipment, and materials, and the performance of all operations required to complete the earthwork and grading indicated on the drawings and herein specified, including in general the following: Clearing and grubbing, stripping, excavating, filling, preparation of subgrade, and finished grading of a roadway or drainage ditch in conformity with the line, continuous grade, and typical cross-sections shown on the plans. The City of Missouri City ("CITY"), Texas is soliciting competitive sealed bids with the intent to establish a contract with a contractor who can provide all the necessary personnel, supervision, transportation, equipment, insurance, bonds, materials, supplies, parts, and any other ancillary item(s) or service(s) needed to establish the shoreline of eroded areas and perform slope failure repairs on holes 5 and 18 at a city-owned lake at the "QVGC". All work will be done in accordance with Exhibit A QVGC Hole 5 & Hole 18 Shoreline Restoration, Exhibit B Technical Specifications, and the terms and conditions specified herein. Bid Bond: To satisfy the requirements of Local Gov't Code Section 262.032, each sealed bid must contain a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total contract price. Performance Bond: If the Total Bid Price is $100,000 or greater, the performance bond shall be 100% of that amount. Payment Bond: If the Total Bid Price is $50,000 or greater, the payment bond shall be 100% of that amount.
