The City of Lauderhill has determined that this RFP shall be reserved for SBE participation and shall comply with City Code of Ordinance Chapter 2, Article III. Section 2-139. (f)(3) - Local Vendors. The scope of work for the Inverrary Bridge Rehabilitation and Improvement shall be described and specified in the Contract Documents. Scope of work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and any other costs/fees necessary to complete all the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The scope of work for this project primarily includes rehabilitation and improvement of existing five (5) bridges servicing within collector roadway system of the City of Lauderhill. Five existing bridges among existing bridges anticipated to be rehabilitated of this project consist of the Bridge No. 867002, Bridge No. 867003, Bridge No. 867004, North Fall Circle Bridge and South Fall Circle Bridge. The work is to be done in two phases, phase one to include Bridge No. 867002, and Bridge No. 867003, phase two to include the remaining bridges. (Bridge No. 867004, North Fall Circle Bridge, and South Fall Circle Bridge). Rehabilitation works to be undertaken, but not limit to, are adopted repair details from standard repair methods depicted in structural plans prepared by Lakdas Yohalem Engineering Inc., listed in the list of drawings below, which are generally applied to all structural defects identified and specified in construction documents for said five bridges. Standard repair methods in the construction documents of this projects as shown in structural plans shall comply the current FDOT standard specifications and the Florida Building Code FBC (latest revision). Generally, the work of bridge rehabilitation includes, but not limited to, the following: - Repair and restore all major structural deficiencies and damaged areas including substructures and superstructures specified in the structural plans as well as specified in the FDOT reports which require to be repaired or upgraded - Extend and upgrade of existing side walk over reference bridges - Provide signed and sealed MOT plans to comply FDOT standard for each bridge and permit to be obtain by the contractor - Obtain all related drainage permit from all agencies prior of starting work - Coordinate construction and MOT with county bus transit and nearby schools - Obtain all construction permit from local county and state agencies Questions Deadline: 1/12/2024 10:00 AM (ET) The Engineering Department of the City of Lauderhill continues improvement programs to achieve safety and integrity for public collector roadway system. As part of this public roads, total of five existing bridges servicing within city collector roadway require to be repaired and upgraded to meet structural safety and integrity.
