Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
Rehabilitation of Water Street, from Haviland Street to Queen Street. Work consists of redesign and reconstruction of the street and underground infrastructure including: replacement of existing watermain; full replacement of existing stormwater management system, including all catch basins, concrete curb and gutter system, and stormwater mains and leads, connections to adjacent system, and shall include the replacement of the stormwater outfall to the harbour that currently runs underneath the Charlottetown Armory parking lot; improvements for intersection of Water Street and Queen Street, including traffic signal; street lighting improvements; and roadway cross-section elements including a concrete sidewalk on both sides of the roadway, roadway travel lanes, on-street parking allocation, concrete curb and gutter (as previously noted), and full depth roadway reconstruction including asphalt pavement, base granular and subbase material. TIMELINE: Plans complete. Tender and construction schedules to be determined pending owner's future capital plans. Further update may be available early spring 2025. *Budget is unreleased.
