The Class of Work of this Project is Grading, Drainage, Structures, Paving, and Roadside Development. This project consists of, but is not limited to, the following: Install and maintain temporary traffic control and erosion control measures, replace bridge structure, construct guardrail, excavate and repair roadway embankment, construct aggregate base and asphalt concrete pavement. Perform additional and Incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans. The Work covered by this contract shall be completed on or before the date specified in Section 00180.50(h) of the Special Provisions bound herein, which is NOVEMBER 15, 2024. The value for this contract is estimated to be $2,000,000 - $5,000,000. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit or Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The Board of Commissioners will not consider a bid unless the bidder is registered with the Construction Contractor's Board or licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board. Bidders shall comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 (Prevailing Wage Rates). Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. The project does not require a contractor or subcontractor to be licensed under ORS 468A.720 for asbestos abatement. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities and to award the contract to the lowest responsive bidder. The Board of Commissioners may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause all bids upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
