2024 Grounds Care Services General Information The Housing Authority of the City of Jefferson is a federally funded agency that has been providing affordable housing to Jefferson City families since 1957. The PHA oversees 755 physical units in Jefferson City, MO. The Housing Authority invites all qualified and licensed Vendors to prepare and submit Proposals in accordance with the requirements listed below. However, this RFP does not commit the Housing Authority to the selection of any submitted Proposal or to enter into a contract with any firm. It is anticipated that if the Housing Authority does enter into a contract(s), the contract(s) will be for one year with an option to renew for three additional one-year periods. A standard Housing Authority contract for services will be used. All costs incurred in the preparation and submission of a response are the responsibility of the Proposer. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities in Proposals and to accept or negotiate cost, terms or conditions of any Proposal determined by the Housing Authority to be in its best interest. Proposers must provide names and contact information for any subcontractor to which Proposer plans to assign work during the course of the contract period. The contractor may not sell, transfer, assign or otherwise dispose of the contract without the consent of the Housing Authority. The Housing Authority has the right to terminate a contract award pursuant to this RFP, at any time for its convenience upon 10 days' written notice to the successful proposer(s). The Housing Authority also has the right to determine the days, hours, and locations that the successful proposer(s) shall provide services called for in this RFP. Project Overview-Grounds Care
The Housing Authority is seeking Proposals for services effective April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, with the option to renew three additional one-year periods from qualified companies to provide lawn care services for Housing Authority-owned or managed properties. Proposers must have at least three years' experience in commercial or multi-residential grounds keeping. The Contractor shall provide all services necessary to complete lawn care services.
