Site work for a water / sewer project in Lafayette, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Except as may be provided for in the Special Conditions, each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the Lafayette Parish Waterworks District North, the amount of which shall be five percent (5%) of the base bid plus additive alternates. Except as may be provided for in the Special Conditions, a performance bond of not less than 100% of the contract price shall be executed to assure the Contractors faithful performance of the contract. A payment bond of not less than 100% of the contract price shall be executed to assure payment as required by law of all persons supplying labor and/or material in the performance of the work provided by the Contractor. The Lafayette Parish Waterworks District North reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any portions thereof, to waive informalities and to select the material which best suits its needs. The work shall consist of, furnishing and installation of water lines, fittings, valves, etc
