Sealed bids will be received for the furnishing of all labor, material, transportation and services required for re-roofing of the existing roofs now in place. Prepare and re-roof all roof areas at the site designated in accordance with the Construction Documents, as prepared by Southwest Roofing Consultants, Inc. To be entitled to consideration, bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided, with all blank spaces filled, the signature in longhand, and alterations or erasures initialed by the Bidder. Where the Bidder is a corporation, the bid must be signed by the legal name of the corporation followed by the name of the state of incorporation and the legal signature of an officer authorized to bind the corporation to a contract. All Contractors must be licensed through the Registrar of Contractors office in the State of Arizona The Bidders may withdraw or modify bids at any time prior to bid opening. No bid may be modified or withdrawn after the bid opening except where the award of the Contract has been delayed for thirty-one (31) days. All bids shall remain firm for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of the bid opening and the Contractor shall be prepared to begin construction upon the date established by the Advice of Award and Notice to Proceed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. The Owner further reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in the bidding process. In addition, the Bidder recognizes the right of the Owner to reject a bid if the Bidder fails to submit the data required by the bidding documents, or if the bid is in any way incomplete or irregular. The Bidder is required to submit two (2) copies of the completed bid form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive or decline to waive irregularities in any bid, or to withhold the award for any reason it may determine, and also reserves the right to hold any or all bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of the opening thereof. No bidder may withdraw his bid during this30 day period.
