provide and install certified play chips for city parks The City of Oak Harbor is seeking the services of a playground wood chips supplier authorized contractor(s) to provide supply, delivery, and blow-in installation on existing and future wood chips throughout the city's parks. The price includes all supplies, delivery, and blow-in installation. The contractor will provide service support and preventative installation as required. It is the intention of the City, within the contract, to "pool" the copy volume of all wood chips city-wide. The City of Oak Harbor will issue a purchase order requesting service as needed. Currently, there are five park sites to be covered by this agreement. A list of park site locations and cubic yards is attached. Additional city playgrounds and any extensions may be added during the initial term. The contractor shall provide maintenance service during the City's regular working hours, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. After-hours and weekend work may be considered. Question Deadline 01/05/2024 Any questions and/or comments, or objections to the bid documents and/or specifications shall be submitted in writing to the Central Services Manager at least five (5) days before the bid opening date. An addendum will be issued to all bidders who obtained bid documents if necessary. The City of Oak Harbor reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informalities in the form of bids. The City also reserves the right to waiver individual specifications if it is satisfied that the bid otherwise meets the performance standards set by these specifications. The term of the contract shall be one year. The contract is anticipated to commence on or about February 6, 2024. A timeline will be required to ensure this project is completed by March 1, 2024.
