sealed bids will be received by the Little Egg Harbor Municipal Utilities Authority for the Sea Oaks Water Tower Rehabilitation, in Little Egg Harbor, Ocean County, New Jersey. The Little Egg Harbor Municipal Utilities Authority reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part and to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the Little Egg Harbor Municipal Utilities Authority. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Little Egg Harbor Municipal Utilities Authority in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 of the amount bid. Any such bid bond shall be without endorsement or conditions. Bid shall also be accompanied by a certificate letter from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder with the completion bond. No interpretations of the meaning of the drawings, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation should be made in writing, addressed to the Engineer, and to be given consideration, must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the final date fixed for receiving bids. Any and all such interpretations and/or supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications, which if issued, will be issued in accordance with applicable State Laws. In general, the work on this project will consist of complete recoating of the existing interior and exterior surfaces, including SP-10 near-white blast removal of the existing interior and exterior coating system of the existing 0.5 MG Elevated Steel water spheroid Water Storage Tank, known asthe Sea Oaks Water Tower, and located at 346 Frog Pond Road, Little Egg Harbor, Ocean County, New Jersey. The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating with Contractors selected by the owner to relocate and ensure continuous operation of the Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department dishes and antennas, and the Little Egg Harbor Municipal Utilities Authority Antenna Read System. Additionally, T-Mobile will be temporarily relocating their antennae from the top of the tower to a predetermined area on the ground/proposed monopole. T-Mobile will be welding new attachment points to the tank for their cellular equipment. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to prepare for paint and paint the new cellular equipment mounting locations. It will be T-Mobile's responsibility to acquire a Disconnect & Reconnect Service Number from the local electric utility company in order to provide temporary electrical services to their communication equipment on the ground/monopole. After the repairs and recoating have been completed, all microwave dishes and antennae will be mounted on the existing guide rail system which will be installed on top of the Elevated Steel Water Spheroid Water Storage Tank. With the exception of the first anniversary inspection, all work as set forth in the Contract Documents shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days, including project closeout, subsequent to the date of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor cannot take the water tower offline between May 15th and September 15th. The Owner will be responsible for draining the tank to near empty conditions. There may be additional iron sediment build up including some water that the Contractor will be required to remove prior to performing any work inside the tank
