Renovation of a municipal facility in Evergreen, Alabama. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of February 28, 2024, project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** REPAIR OF CAMERA SECURITY SYSTEM PROJECT BACKGROUND The existing camera security system the County Courthouse, located at 111 Court Street, Evergreen, Alabama 36401, and the County Jail, located at 104 Liberty St, Evergreen, AL 36401, is in need of repair. The Commission reserves the right to award the contract for one or both of the facilities. This system should be interoperable in order to allow for the Sheriff’s Office to remotely view and respond to emergencies in real time should the Commission elect to contract for both facilities. The County is seeking a licensed, qualified vendor to provide all products and services needed to adequately repair camera security system at one or both locations. Awarded vendor shall provide a complete turnkey solution and perform all duties for a fully functional system. Additional details are set forth in Section II,Bid Specifications. For the avoidance of doubt, all goods and services, including ongoing services and maintenance, must be included in the line item bid price. Hosting of the data is not included in the scope of work. Any questions or problems related to downloading or obtaining copies of this ITB or the specifications should be directed to Larry W. Davis, Sr. at larry.davis@conecuhema.us. Any other questions or requests for additional information regarding this invitation or the specifications shall be submitted in writing via email no later than 12:00 pm CT seven (7) business days prior to bid opening, and labeled as “IT: Repairing the Camera Security System.” No bid bond is required for this bid offering. The awarding authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids, to accept in whole or in part such bid or bids, to cancel this ITB, or to take any action consistent with law deemed to be in the best interest of the County, each solely at its discretion. BID AWARD Following approval from the Commission, the County will issue a purchase order for all goods and services. For the avoidance of doubt, the terms and conditions listed herein will apply to the purchase order. The goods and services included in the successful bid shall be available to the County at the same price for three (3) years following the issuance of the purchase order. Payment will be made based upon a properly submitted invoice following proper delivery and installation of the good or service It is anticipated that purchases made pursuant to the bid award may be funded, in whole or in part,with American Rescue Plan Act state and local recovery funds (ARPA funds). However, purchases made pursuant to the bid award are not limited to those made with ARPA funds. To the extent that such purchases are funded in whole or part with ARPA funds, all costs associated with the resulting agreement must be obligated by December 31, 2024, and expended by December 31, 2026. Bids will be opened at the above-referenced location at a regularly scheduled Conecuh County Commission (Commission) working meeting on 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Only bids received by that time will be opened and considered. Bidder must make an appointment with the County’s point of contact, Larry W. Davis, at larry.davis@conecuhema.us. Visits will only be allowed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Central Time, excluding holidays. No visits will be scheduled after Friday, February 16,2024.
