The work shall include all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required for the construction of Sta. 34+15 Build Twin 8 x 4 x 42 Concrete Box Culvert . The bidder will include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project with the proposal. The Contractor will be allowed 60 calendar days for completion of the work. The required completion date of the project is June 1, 2024. Final Pay Estimates/Billing shall be required by the end of the day on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Each bidder will be required to submit with his proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the County Treasurer of Hall County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of their proposal. The Hall Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to pass upon the regularity, and to waive any irregularities. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall furnish within ten (10) days after the award a surety bond or bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. The form of the bonds and surety shall be acceptable to the Hall County Board of Commissioners Awarding of the Contract will be in accordance with the provisions of "Competitive Bidding; Consideration", COUNTY PURCHASING ACT, N.R.S. Sections 23-3101 through 23-3114, any competitive bidding requirements of Nebraska Statutes 16-321, et. seq. The Hall County Board of Commissioners will, at their discretion, award the contract based on the lowest or best bid.
