Aransas County, Texas, seeks responses from qualified individuals, companies, firms, or other entities to its Request for Proposals for Development and Consulting Services to evaluate and produce a development plans for the Aransas County Airport The Aransas County Airport (ACA) was established in 1948 and has served as a key aviation hub in the region since that time. Over the years, ACA has responded to the demands of the region, playing an instrumental role in the transportation and trade sectors of Aransas County. Beginning as a small airport catering to local flights, it has grown significantly and is now classified as a Regional General Aviation Airport within the National Plan of Integrated Airports System (NPIAS). 1. Scope of Work and Specific Duties. Aransas County Airport has identified parcels of land which could potentially be utilized for development purposes. These areas include unused lands adjacent to existing runways as well as areas away from the airside that could be transformed to better serve the public and businesses. For additional information on land availability for development, please reference the Airport Land Use Map on page 326 of the Airport Master Plan document which can be accessed using the link below. There are other maps and additional information in the Master Plan which might be useful when considering a Proposal. Written Questions Deadline Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m Interested parties may submit written questions and/or requests for clarification no later than Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Questions and clarifications will only be accepted in writing and must be emailed to the Contracts and Procurement Specialist, Eric Smith at esmith@aransascounty.org. All questions and answers will be distributed to prospective respondents by email and/or by posting Electronically Once submitted, opened publicly, and read aloud, responses may not be withdrawn for Sixty (60) days. Aransas County reserves the right to change procurement deadlines, to waive informalities, and to select a response or responses, or to select no response, or take any other action deemed in the best interest of the County. Prospective respondents to this Request for Proposals (RFP) for Development and Consulting Services - Aransas County Airport, RFP #2024-104 should read this entire document carefully. Aransas County reserves the right to reject and or all Proposals or to waive informalities in the Proposing process. All responses must be addressed and submitted to: Aransas County Courthouse Attn: Eric Smith, Contracts and Procurement Specialist Development and Consulting Services - Aransas County Airport, RFP #2024-104 2840 HWY 35 N Rockport, TX 78382 Submissions may not be delivered verbally, by facsimile transmission, e-mail, or other means. All submissions must be delivered in sealed and properly labeled packages or containers. Each Proposer should visit the Study site prior to submitting a response to ensure the Proposer is aware of the specific conditions, existing structures, and facilities and understands additional factors, such as how the site is accessed. The County may choose to reject submissions from any Proposers failing to inspect the Study site prior to Proposing The main point of contact for this RFP is: Eric Smith, Contracts and Procurement Specialist, 2840 Hwy 35 N, Rockport, Texas 78382. A respondent may withdraw their response by submitting a written request for its withdrawal, such request having the signature of an authorized respondent representative, to the Contracts and Procurement Specialist at any time prior to the submission deadline. The respondent may thereafter submit a new response prior to the deadline Each response shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the RFP submission deadline date to allow time for evaluation, selection, and any unforeseen delays. The sixty (60) days may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
