CONTACT THE PROJECT ENGINEER, ASHLEY WEBER, AT 314-335-2133, REGARDING TECHNICAL QUESTIONS. PLEASE CONTACT STACEY HUNTER IN THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT AT 314-436- 8738 . Contract consists of the construction of approximately 160 lineal feet of channel stabilization, 141 lineal feet of pipe sewers varying in size from 12" to 48" in diameter and appurtenances to be constructed. The Engineers Opinion of probable cost for this project is $425,000. Bids not submitted on district provided forms will be rejected. The Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check on a bank or trust not less than 5% of the bid amount as bid security to the district. The district reserves the right to reject any all bids, offer or proposals submitted to accept the proposal that it deems to be to its best interest or to advertise new bids. At the same time successful bidder shall also fill with the district 2 copies of both a contract bond for 100% of contract amount and an acceptable certified of insurance and insurance binder or policy for the required insurance coverage. The Contractor shall commence work within 10 days after the date of written notice from the district to begin and shall complete all work within 1020 calendar days after the expiration of such 10 days period.
