The County of Santa Clara (County) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Property Disposal Services for Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) and Operating Supplies for Countys agencies and departments. It is the Countys intent to award a Contractor who has the capability and capacity to perform the full scope of the services outlined in this solicitation. Collaboration among potential providers for a single submission is highly encouraged to fulfill the entirety of the requirements in this solicitation. The County reserves the right to award to multiple providers, and/or award a proposal in part or in its entirety, if it is in the best interest of the County to do so. It is the Countys intent that any award resulting from this RFP will be maintained for a period of three (3) years with an option for the County to renew for extend for two (2) additional one-year periods, unless terminated earlier or otherwise amended. The County will hold a pre-proposal conference on the date and time specified in Section III.A, Schedule of Events, of this RFP. Unless stated that a conference is mandatory, attendance in the pre-proposal conference is highly recommended. The County will not respond to questions submitted in any other manner or format.
