Renovation of a mixed-use development in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

This work includes replacement of existing vertical turbine fire pump system, consisting of fire pump, fire pump controller, and automatic transfer switch. Crane, crane operator, along with all required safety procedures will be followed to remove existing and install new fire pump, pump will be removed from overhead hatch. This work is to include all electrical disconnect/reconnecting of electrical services, along with full commissioning of new fire pump equipment once complete. Work scope begins with new pipe, fittings, and sprinkler heads only. 2. Work to begin 10 AFF. No underground work is included. 3. Work hours shall be between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. 4. Provisions for life/property safety while the system is not in service shall be provided by the owner or their representative. 5. This cost shall be based upon pressure testing, per NFPA requirement, of the new work involved only, and DOES NOT include pressure testing of the existing system. Any pressure test required on the existing system will be handled as an extra to the contract. The buyer assumes full responsibility for the condition of the existing system, and for water and/or other damage resulting directly or indirectly from such condition and/or the application of test and/or flushing pressures to the existing system.
