Televise Sanitary Sewer 2450 L.F. 8-inch diameter DIP Class 52 Watermain 125 L.F. 6-inch diameter DIP Class 52 Watermain 1100 L.F. 1-inch diameter Copper Water Lateral 750 L.F. 12-inch to 42-inch diameter RCP Storm Sewer 9300 C.Y. Unclassified Excavation/Asphalt/Crushed Concrete Removals 11500 Ton Crushed Aggregate Base Course 3650 Ton Asphaltic Pavement 16200 S.F. 4-inch thick concrete sidewalk 5400 S.F. 6-inch thick concrete driveway and sidewalk 6000 L.F. Pavement Marking 1 L.S. Turf Restoration of All Disturbed Areas CONTRACTOR PRE-QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED. Qualifications are due by 10:00 am on January 8, 2024. PreQualification forms can be obtained by contacting MSA Professional Services No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. We encourage Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), and Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit bid proposals. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. A municipality, in awarding prime contracts, and the primary engineer and primary contractor, in awarding subcontractors, are required to make a good faith effort to achieve a combined minimum goal of 15% participation for MBE/WBE utilization . The City of Hurley is planning improvements to USH 51 from Iron Street to Bernard Street. To assist planning and design, Ms. Joanne Bruneau, Mayor of Hurley, authorized American Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET) to conduct a subsurface exploration program at the site and perform a geotechnical engineering review for the project. This report presents the results of the above services and provides our engineering recommendations based on this data. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Contractor shall furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents. Goals for Women = 6.9 percent (this goal applies nationwide) Minority Goals - percentage Iron County 1.2.
