The City of Anaheim is interested in retaining services from qualified consulting engineering firms under contract to provide competent and experienced personnel to support a variety of activities on an "AS-NEEDED", "ON-CALL", "SHORT NOTICE" basis, to provide soil testing and inspection, geotechnical engineering, certified deputy building inspection, materials testing, and environmental engineering and science services for future City capital construction contracts. The Consultant must meet the following requirements for the Request For Proposal to be submitted for further evaluation. City may deem non-responsive a RFP that fails to meet the minimum requirements: 1. The Geotechnical Services project must be managed/supervised by a registered professional (i.e., Certified Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer). 2. The materials testing must be staffed with registered professionals (i.e., Certified Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer) and technicians experienced in such said required materials testing. The City will award agreements to provide the above services for a period of two (2) years. The agreements may be renewed for a maximum of two (2) additional terms of two (2) years each, subject to satisfactory performance and at the sole discretion of the City. The initial term of services is anticipated between April 2024 and April 2026, with the City's option to extend through April 2026 and April 2028 No minimum or maximum number of selected consultants is guaranteed, and the City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals when such rejection is in the best interest of the City. City also reserves the right to waive any minor irregularities or technicalities in proposal documents at the City's sole discretion. All costs incurred in the preparation of the proposal, in the submission of additional information and/or in any other aspect of a proposal prior to the award of a written contract will be borne by the respondent. The City will only provide the staff assistance and documentation specifically referred to herein, and will not be responsible for any other cost or obligation that may be incurred by the respondent. All proposals submitted to the City shall become the property of the City of Anaheim. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submitted proposals, and no representation is made that any contract will be awarded pursuant to this Request for Proposal. All costs incurred in the preparation of the Proposal, in the submission of additional information, and/or in any other aspect of a Proposal prior to the award of a written contract will be borne by the respondent. The City will provide only the staff assistance and documentation specifically referred to herein and will not be responsible for any other cost or obligation that may be incurred by the respondent. All proposals submitted to the City shall become the property of the City.
