The project sites are located as follows: C-78(847) - on County Road S between County Road 24 and County Road 25; C-78(850) - on County Road F, between County Road 13 and County Road 14 and C78(856) - on County Road 7, between County Road M and County Road N, all in Saunders County, Nebraska. Also, each bidder is to include an estimated completion date for each site with their Bid Proposal. The desired completion date for all sites is October 1, 2024 The successful bidder (i.e. Contractor) will be allowed sixty-five (65) calendar days for completion of each site after beginning work at that site, provided they do not exceed their specified completion dates for each site. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. No project can be started without the intent to complete that site without delay from the other sites, therefore, the Contractor will not be allowed to start the removals at a site unless they have committed a crew to complete the work at that site. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to the acceptance by the Saunders County Board of Supervisors.
