The bid shall include siren installation, site optimization, 4 standard batteries, and 50' wooden poles to mount the siren and the necessary antenna, brackets, and cables to connect the antenna to the controller. The installation fees proposed shall include the vendors labor, their mileage, the usage fee for all specialty vehicles involved in the installation, all required State electrical permits, all wiring needed to connect the siren to the electrical utility line, programming, and testing of the siren. The Village of Dunbar is seeking bids for the installation of 1 outdoor warning siren. The siren would be mounted on new 50' wooden poles with battery backup and digital activation capability to control the siren. The siren would be mounted centrally in the village to address warning deficits. The location provides a maxi mum outdoor warning to those areas of the community where outdoor activities are common while minimizing the cost of installation. The contractor shall complete the delivery of the system no later than six (6) months after the order/purchase of the siren, which shall be completed within one (1) month of board approval of the bid. The installation and testing shall be completed no later than three (3) months after delivery of system. The Operation and Maintenance Training of the system shall be completed no later than one (1) month after the installation and testing of the system. The Village of Dunbar hereby reserves the right to accept that bid which, in its judgement, will produce the best job of workmanship and material, whether or not it is the lowest bid; and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities of any proposal.
