Remodeling of a municipal facility in Henderson, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 6,952-square-foot municipal facility.
Municipal Building Remodel Project The Municipal Building facilities located at 400 West Main, Henderson, Texas, will be made available for review and inspection by the prospective bidders All questions concerning this Project shall be directed to Owner s Project Manager, Neal Holland, at neal@stokesandassociates.com. The Project basically consists of the following: Remodel of two (2) existing municipal office buildings in Henderson, Texas. Building #1 is an approximate 4,437 sf and Building #2 is an approximate 2,515 sf (1st floor only, no work shall be performed on the 2nd floor). In general, the remodel work will include demolition of existing interior walls, general carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, power washing building exteriors, and floor leveling in Building #2. A Bidder s Bond, Certified or Cashier s Check in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the Henderson Economic Development Corporation. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as well as proof of statutory worker s compensation insurance. Henderson Economic Development Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids may be held by Henderson Economic Development Corporation for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder s qualifications prior to the contract award.
