Renovation of a museum in Pikeville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

This solicitation is to bid for a one- time purchase for the provision of a roof replacement at Betty Dunn Nature Center for Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation at Fall Creek Falls State Park. Please refer to the solicitation documents for information regarding questions and comments due date and a date for the pre-response conference. All bids over $100,000 shall include provisions for a payment bond in the amount of twentyfive percent (25%) of the contract price. Any prospective Respondent having questions and comments concerning this ITB must provide them in writing to the Solicitation Coordinator. All questions must be submitted no later than January 15, 2024 Demolition - properly dispose of all debris off- property unless otherwise noted. 1) The contractor shall remove existing membrane roof system, including roof insulation, to deck. 2) The contractor shall remove metal roofing on sloped areas. 3) The contractor shall remove the translucent panels for replacement. 4) The contractor shall not leave areas exposed overnight. New Work 1) The contractor shall provide and install new 1/8 th -inch tapered polyiso roof insulation system on all flat portions of the roof structure. 2) The contractor shall provide and install minimum 60-mil TPO roof on flat and slightly sloped areas and down roofing parapet wall. 3) The contractor shall remove any stonework as needed for flashing/roof system and replace. 4) The contractor shall provide and install 24-gauge double lock standing seam metal roof on sloped areas. 5) The contractor shall provide and install new coping on top of parapet walls and along flat roof edges. 6) The contractor shall provide and install new multiwall polypropylene panels to replace existing on "chimney" and to cover two existing holes in lower roof. Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) Businesses that are a continuing, independent, for-profit business which performs a commercially useful function, and is at least fifty-one percent (51%) owned and controlled by one (1) or more individuals in the minority or woman category who were impeded from normal entry into the economic mainstream because of past practices of discrimination based on race, ethnic background, or gender. Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (SDVBE) "Service-disabled veteran-owned business" means a service-disabled veteran-owned business located in the State of Tennessee that satisfies the criteria in Tenn. Code. Ann. 12-3-1102(8). "Service-disabled veteran" means any person who served honorably in active duty in the armed forces of the United States with at least a twenty percent (20%) disability that is service-connected, i.e., the disability was incurred or aggravated in the line of duty in the active military, naval or air service.
