Site work, paving and new construction of a municipal facility in Alexandria, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a 16,800-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for paving for a municipal facility.
The work will be accomplished through multiple contracts with Douglas County, with Contegrity Group Inc. acting as the Construction Manager. As of April 25, 2024, an awarded general contractor has been identified. All other trades have been awarded. The following categories of work will be bid (subject to change): Earthwork/Utilities/Exterior Improvements, Concrete, Carpentry, Overhead Doors, Tile/Flooring, Acoustical Treatments, Painting, Fire Protection, Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC, Electrical/Communications/Electronic Safety & Security. Material Only Categories: Standard Doors/Frames/Hardware. Construction has commenced this month. Completion is expected by October 2024. Each bid regardless of dollar amount, shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or corporate surety bond in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the base bid, as bid security.
