Site work and paving for a civil project in Garland, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% is required to be uploaded with your bid response. Failure to do so could deem your bid non-responsive. A Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond will be required upon award. Payment & Performance Bond Requirements A Payment and Performance Bond is being requested for this project. Sec. 2253.021.(1) & (2) of the Local Government Code states that all public works contract in excess of $50,000.00 require a Payment Bond and all public works contracts above $100,000.00 require a Performance Bond. Payment and Performance bonding will be for 100% of the total awarded contract. Maintenance Bond A Maintenance Bond is being requested for this project. This ensures the Contractor will maintain and keep in good repair all work to be performed and done under the Contract for a period of two (2) years from the date of acceptance of the completed work by the City. Maintenance Bonding will be for 10% of the total awarded contract. SURETY BONDS: The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds upon the form provided in the amount of 100% of the total contract price from an approved bank or surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the OWNER Question Deadline Jan 12, 2024 at 12:00 PM
