Saskatoon Public Schools is inviting proposals from qualified contractors to provide inspections and essential maintenance and repairs for the basketball backstops, gym divider curtains, and bleachers in our educational facilities. Ensuring the safety and functionality of our sports infrastructure is of paramount importance and we are seeking a reputable service provider to help us achieve this objective. The selected contractor shall be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Comprehensive inspection of all backstops, gym divider curtains, and bleachers within our division. 2. Identification and documentation of any damage, wear, or safety concerns. 3. Submission of detailed report containing findings, recommendations, and estimated repair costs for each item of concern including a priority level of all recommendations. Example report to be submitted as part of proposal. 4. Execution of necessary repairs, which may include but are not limited to: a. Replacement of damaged components. b. Surface refinishing and corrosion prevention. c. Structural reinforcement if deemed necessary. d. Safety improvements as needed. 5. Assist owner in creating inspection check sheets for SPS maintenance staff to complete moving forward. The Contractor will supply all equipment, materials, labour, supervision, and associated requirements necessary to complete inspections and repairs at SPS facilities during the term of the contract. All 52 facilities are located within Saskatoon city limits.
