Renovation of a detention facility in Sevierville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Sevier County Government is now accepting bids for a control system for the Sevier County Juvenile Facility. The vendors name, address, bid opening time and date, and the quotation 2024 Sevier County Juvenile Facility Control System must be printed on the sealed, opaque envelope containing the bid. Sevier County reserves the right to accept or reject any/or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of Sevier County. o Provide and install one (1) control station and remove the existing control station. o The control station will include a computer, software system, and a touchscreen monitor. o Provide and install one (1) 8-port network switch to replace the existing switch. o Provide one (1) locking board system o Proposed bidders may request an onsite inspection of the facility. DELIVERY o Destination location is the Sevier County Juvenile Facility at 157 W. Main Street, Sevierville, TN 37862. o Delivery date shall be by Wednesday, July 31, 2024. If that date is not possible the delivery date will be negotiated with the Sevier County Juvenile Facility and coordinated with the Director or his/her appointed designee and guaranteed from the receipt of the purchase order and/or signed contract. o The item shall be completely assembled by the successful vendor prior to acceptance by the Sevier County Juvenile Facility. Space will be provided by the Sevier County Juvenile Facility for on-site assembly. The vendor shall supply the necessary labor and materials for the assembly and placement of all equipment as specified herein. o Successful vendor shall be responsible for the prompt removal of all debris which is a result of this contractual service.
