The Municipality of Anchorage (MOA), Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility (AWWU) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services to employ and manage contractors in the collection of condition data on sanitary sewer assets. A multitude of condition assessment technologies may be used to gather data at varying resolution dependent on the needs of the Utility. Data resolution needs vary based on factors such as asset function, asset criticality to the system, asset failure modalities, and personnel or equipment accessibility. The condition assessment data is analyzed by AWWU to manage and prioritize projects on sewer assets to ensure service levels are maintained. The professional services required are on an as-needed basis over the term of the contract.
