Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Nevada, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed work includes: Construction of a 400-foot, three-span prestressed NU-girder bridge, approach roadway work, and any incidental work in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is located on Infantry Pass, in Section 9, Township 36N, Range 31W, Vernon County, Missouri, over Marmaton River. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. All questions concerning the bid document preparation can be directed to the Project Manager at Great River Engineering at 417-886-7171. Project specific questions can be directed to the Design Professional of record at Great River Engineering. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Vernon County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 0%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
