Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Peachtree City, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,024-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

Work of the Project includes Peachtree City Tennis Pro-Shop Renovations including but not limited to replacing the existing standing seam roof and awning canopies, the replacement of the existing soffit, fascia, downspouts, gutters, double entry doors, carpet and gyp board ceilings. In addition, spray fAoam insulation is to be applied to the existing roof sheathing between the existing roof rafters. Other renovation work will include painting the new gyp board ceiling and all walls and renovating the existing casework with new finish materials. The City of Peachtree City will be receiving separate sealed Bids for all material, labor and equipment for the Peachtree City Tennis Pro-Shop Renovations. This includes the following work, with all related accessories as shown on the Construction Drawings and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications: Work of the Project includes Peachtree City Tennis Pro-Shop Renovations including but not limited to replacing the existing standing seam roof and awning canopies, the replacement of the existing soffit, fascia, downspouts, gutters, double entry doors, carpet and gyp board ceilings. Each Bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount of 5%, and shall be subject to the conditions provided in Section 00 21 13. The contract will be awarded to the low, responsive, and responsible bidder with reservation of right to reject all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn by Bidders for 60 days following opening of the bids. The project shall be Substantially Complete within 90 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed of the contract. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $200.00 per day for each calendar day required to achieve Substantial Completion. The project shall be Final Complete within 30 calendar days beyond Substantial Completion. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $200.00 per day for each calendar day required to achieve Final Completion. The City of Peachtree City provides assurances to Bidder that all anticipated Federal, State, and Local Permits along with anticipated Rights of Way and Easements have been obtained or will be obtained prior to start of construction. The City of Peachtree City will not accept pre-bid project questions within a period of 120 hours prior to the advertised time for opening bids, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Peachtree City Legal Holidays. The City of Peachtree City will not issue or cause to be issued any addenda modifying the Project Manual or Construction Drawings within a period of 72 hours prior to the advertised time for opening bids, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Peachtree City Legal Holidays. Agreement will require a Payment Bond in the amount of 110%, and a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the project cost. The City of Peachtree City reserves the right to bid a project in phases and award the contract on the phases it deems to be in the City's best interest.
