B.l Administration Building UST Removal 7 o Notify dig safe as required by law. o Mobilize equipment to the site and demobilize at the completion of the proposed work. o Prevailing wage applies to this project. o Work must comply with all state and local regulations. o Must have any applicable licenses in good standing. o Contractor will be responsible for obtaining appropriate permits. o Work site protection and operations will be performing in accordance with applicable OSHA standards and practices. o Install construction fence around work site. o Saw cut asphalt o Removal and disposal of asphalt as needed for tank removal o Remove bushes and dispose. o Remove concrete walkway, replace with asphalt and install 30ft of granite curbing on south side of excavation. o Excavate around existing fuel tank o Stockpile excavated soils o Cover stockpiled soils with 10 mil poly o Cut 2 holes in top of fuel tank o Clean sludge from bottom of fuel tank o Disposal of up to 50 gallons of sludge from bottom of tank o Removal and disposal of fuel tank and piping, (5000 gallon tank). o Install stock piled excavated soils o Import clean soils to complete backfilling. o Compact all backfilling. o Install dense grade for asphalt base o Install 2" hot mix asphalt binder course INVITATION FOR BID FOR REMOVAL OF UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS FOR THE NORFOLK COUNTY AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOL IB.
